Stupid Bellini....
Was scheduled for furniture delivery today...took the day off and everything. Told the woman on the phone they need to get here before 5 because I have to leave here at 6 for a hospital tour. She assured me they NEVER deliver past 5, I will be totally fine. Even put it in my paperwork, MUST BE BEFORE 5. Guess what??? It's 5:40 and NO furniture. I literally sat here ALLLLLLLLL day waiting for furniture that never arrived. I'm so frustrated.

I HATE furniture companies... They never come when they are suppossed to... I once had a company try to make a delivery at 10 AT NIGHT... Really?!?! No sorry, Im now sleeping and dont want you and 3 other men in my house at nighttime

Can you believe that it is almost 10 and the guy is STILL not here and claims he is still coming??? DH just wants to tell him to forget it, but I don't want to have to deal with this another day, so I want him to come. Ughhhhh.
For some reason we are ALWAYS the last to be delivered!!!!!!

They JUST got here!!!!!!!! OMG the phone call DH is going to make to Bellini tomorrow. I feel bad for whoever answers the phone. WHO in their right mind would find a 10:45PM deliver on a Wednesday night acceptable?!?!!?!? We paid A LOT of money for this furniture.

I would be furious. Furniture deliveries should take place way before 8 pm. Especially on a weeknight. And you had to take the day off, they should compensate you for that - especially if they assured you it would be delivered in a normal 8am-6pm time. That is insane. I hope Bellini does something for you two. glad the furniture showed up though. Hope it is in MINT condition!!

DH is calling Bellini today - as soon as they open. BUT, now our neighbors HATE us. They live downstairs and came up yelling at DH that it was too loud. I feel HORRIBLE. We really should have just turned them away, but we were just so frustrated, we didn't want to deal with this another day. Now I am not even excited about the furniture, it feels like bad karma to me and I can't look at it. I'm so upset.
DH is going to bring our neighbors some flowers and maybe an edible arrangement to apologize. We JUST moved in and feel like we're starting off on a really bad foot! Ughhhhh!

I am furious for you!!! I hate furniture delivery companies. For the amount of money that you pay for Bellini, you should be getting top-notch service. They better reimburse you any delivery fees, PLUS some additional compensation.

that happened to me with sleepy's once - they kept delivering the wrong bed, and when they finally brought the right one, didn't show up until 10. thank god i was in a non-doorman building. my current building doesn't even allow deliveries after 6pm.
hope bellini makes it up to you!

Bellini by me in Atlanta, Ga uses an outside delivery company so they aren't responsible for this type of issue. I'm interested to find out how this situation is handled.
