Is it possible for a 6.5 month old to wave??
No, right?  I could swear that DS waved at us last night...but that isn't possible? He is too young right? He is a big fan of twirling his hands (jazz hands as I call them )...but this was a wave!!!

My dd did around that time and did in consistently starting at 7 months, so yes it is possible! My dd has jazz hands whem excited, too!

Yes! DD clapped hands and waved at 7 months old, I have it on video.

Yes! My son started a few days before turning 7 months! He would do it every time we left my dads house at that age. Here he was two days after turning 7 months also he was saying his version of bye-bye:
waiving at 7 months old

DD is 6m 1w and my MIL said she swears she saw her wave... i think i read somewhere that it COULD start around this age.

I swear my 5.5 month old does it...I say hi Sofia and she lifts up her arm and open and shuts her little hand type wave. I think my older DD was doing it around 6-7 months.

Yes. My DD clapped and waved at 6.5 mos. consistently. I have videos bc I couldn't believe it! My DS did both around 8 mos which I think is mroe typical...
So cute isn't it
