crying wolf! IDK

so after false labor 2 days in a row ...
contractions 15-20min apart for 4 hours 2 days in a row now I dont know what to do

they just started about an hour ago...15 mins apart but they do feel stronger

dont want to jinx it or get my hopes up but Im also afraid now that after this weekend Im not going to believe its the real thing if it is until its late

also I keep getting a really bad sharp pain in my groin (I guess round lig. pain) really bad with the contractions...makes me almost fall to my knees when it hits

Re: crying wolf! IDK

Did you have an internal at your last visit? Where were you with that?

I'm totally afraid to wait too long with #2 since I had such a fast L&D with #1 (well, it was 6.5 hours total, but only 3 once I got to the hospital). The last thing I want is to give birth at home or something!

If it's making you fall to your knees, it sounds like some very powerful stuff! Might be time to gather the troops and go. Hope you feel better and/or have that baby soon!!

Re: crying wolf! IDK

I was pretty fast with dd...12 hours from first contraction til I held her..I labor at home til I was 6cm

the dr told me not to do that this time!
I was 3cm as of Friday
had "false" labor Thursday and Friday

As far as the pain that drops me to my knees its not in my stomach its in my groin and its for a split second...but its really bad

I just called dh and told him to call our back up crew for dd (not to come yet but to be ready)

I still dont know if this is it or not...I can talk through the contractions except that groin pain when it hits (not every contraction)

I dont know with #1 I just knew....I figured #2 would be just as clear but IDK...

With #1 I could talk through the contractions until it was time to push. Not sure if that's a great way to tell... I was 5 cm when I got to the hospital but 9 cm an hour later (the nurse was shocked).

The only way I knew it was "it" was because I was losing my mp in awful chunks with every contraction at home. When it became bloody, I went to the hospital.

No sign of letting up certainly sounds like labor... glad everyone's on call and ready! Very exciting!!!

Thank you for the laugh cause soon I'm just going to cry....once again everything just slowed down

I can't take it anymore...I have a dr appt tomorrow morning and I'm caving and going to do the induction. I figure once I schedule it may be then it will happen.
