Online Savings Account--ING Direct or Ally Bank
Do you have an online Savings account for your kids?
If so, what bank holds the account?
I am looking in to ING Direct (.80% variable APR) and Ally bank (.84% variable APR).
I am not sure which I should go with or if I should look in to another Bank. My bank only offers a .05% APR.

we used to have a savings with ING Direct before we bought our house. Never an issue. easy to transfer money into and out of.

I have an ING for our savings account and love it. Easy to transfer money.
For our, DD we opened at Bethpage Federal Credit Union because it's 4% for first 1000 dollars and 1% for the rest. Highest interest rate we found.

I use ING all the time! It's a 2 business day turn around from the time you try to transfer money to the day you receive it. So, if you'll ever need quick access, make sure you're not dependent on this money. I have money deducted from my checking to the ING savings automatically and it coincides with my paycheck so I never miss it! It's awesome and so easy to use!!!
