FERT Report is in
Out of 10 eggs only 7 were mature and only 4 fertilized. They will call me tomorrow with transfer time. I am a little worried because what if the four don't make it...anyone have only 4 fertilize and have good results?

 Think positive! I feel like they turn this into a numbers race, and it shouldn't be! I had 8 fertilize, and only 6 made it to blast. We implanted 2 and froze 2, the other 2 didn't make it to freeze.
See all the numbers? They mess with our minds! As long as you have good, healthy, growing embies, the # doesn't matter!

This was almost exactly what we had!! For my first IVF, I had 9 eggs, 6 mature, 4 fertilized.
We transfered 3 on day 3.
Two embryos took and one split, so I had identical twins and a singleton (triplets).
Unfortunately I lost them close to 8wks. The 4th embryo that fertilized never made it to freeze, and I ended up doing another fresh for our next cycle.
I was told quality is more important than quantity!! I was so disappointed to learn we had so few embryos to work with, but was SHOCKED to see we got triplets from it!! You just never know!
ETA: I meant for my story to give you hope as well - the loss was not because of the embryos or anything, it was because of my body.

I have not personally been through this but from an outside perspective, I want to say to try to remember that it's quality and not quantity. You can have 20 and if they are not good quality, it wouldn't matter. Those four that you have may be rock star's

i had only 3 fertilize. put in 3. got pregnant with twins. lost one twin, not due to any infertility reasons at 23 weeks. So, head up, it can work:)

Think positive! I had 4 fertilize out of 5. We put back 3 and I am now almost 27 weeks with a  . Quality, not quantity!!

The cycle we got pg with DD we only had 4 eggs retrieved, and three sent off for PGD testing. We put back the best two, and we have our DD now!

Yeah. I agree with everyone. Don't go crazy worrying about the numbers. Tomorrow they will transfer two best embryos and that's a great thing. I started out with many eggs and in the end transferred two back in ( yesterday) and froze one (maybe two). I was kind of dissapointed bc I wanted some back up but in the end I'm grateful to have had a successful transfer and am just praying for the best . My bff also said not to worry about the grades of the embies if it is going to work it will and it is all in god hands. Good luck tomorrow!!!

I agree you only need 1!
I did pgd and all of my embies were infected except one who is now today my healthy and happy son. My husband and myself carry the sickle cell trait and 6 embies out of the 7 were infected. Our faces dropped when they told us the day of the transfer but low and behold the 1 they put in made it so trust me it only takes 1 and you have 4 so you should be just fine
