Night time Pampers Baby Dry Leaking

Last night was the second night in a row that DDs diaper leaked. I was wondering is the Baby Dry the least absorbant of the Pampers varietys. She is 11 months, just wondering if she is supposed to be "graduating" from Baby Dry into something else. TIA.

Go up a Size... My son was in them from about 7 months up until a week ago (2). Very rarely leaked. When he did, it meant I needed to go up a size. Huggies only worked when he was younger.

Re: Night time Pampers Baby Dry Leaking

I used baby dry for the first time last week, size 2. DS leaked three nights in a row and I needed to tape them closed because the tabs kept popping open. Switched back to swaddlers and there was no leaking. Contacted Pampers and they are sending me coupons. He is at the low end of the weight range for size 2, so going up a size would be way too big for him, so not really an option.
I thought it was just me.

Re: Night time Pampers Baby Dry Leaking

I tend to go up a size overnight before I do for during the day...even if DS is on the lower end of the weight range for that size. I just make sure it is nice and snug around the waist, overlapping the tabs if necessary. I also make sure I use a onesie that isn't overly loose if he is on the low end of the weight range, just to keep things in place.

Thanks for the suggestion. He is only 14lbs. I bought the baby dry because it was all they had in his size the day I was in the store. Unfortunately, it was the big case pack.
He is fine with the swaddlers. I don't like the baby dry at all and neither does he. He fights when I try to put them on. I am gonna use the coupons they are sending me to buy more swaddlers. Once he is out of the swaddlers size completely, I might just switch brands.

I was thinking this may very well be the problem. She has been a size 3 for quite sometime and has really packed on some pounds in the past couple of weeks. Thanks God we are at the bottom of the box. I think I need to get the size 4 and see what happens. Thanks ladies!

I think i'll pick up a box of cruisers also just to see how we lie them. If I'm not mistaken there are less cruisers in the box for around the same price at BJs, am I mistaken?

Re: Night time Pampers Baby Dry Leaking

I agree, go up a size. When DS leaks out at night I go up a size at night and stay the same for the day. Usually within a few.weeks of moving up at night I move up during the day too.

Also, try the diaper doublers from babies r us. I use them with a target diaper and rarely have an issue.

Yes, the cruisers have less in the box, but work better than the baby dry IMO. HTH
