Window treatments for the nursery?
The bedrooms in our house came with crappy pull down shades that we still haven't replaced. The only room that had no window treatments is the office, which will become the nursery for #2. There's 1 double window that I need to put something on. I have no idea where to even start looking or what to get.
What kind of window treatments do you have in the nursery? If you got stuff at a chain store, where did you go? I live in CT so local recommendations won't help me. Please post pictures if you have them. Thanks!

Re: Window treatments for the nursery?
We got room darkening curtains for DS1 and for the new nursery. The first ones we spent $$$$ and I think got them from Macy's. They are nice, but this time we got navy ones from Target for much, much less, and they do as good a job keeping out the light. I think it's really helped DS1 sleep later and nap with the blackening aspect.

Re: Window treatments for the nursery?
We're doing room darkening Levolor shades. They are cordless and we have them in the other rooms of the house as well (not all darkening though). We got them at Lowes and found them to be very reasonably priced. They cut the shade to your exact needed measurment for free.

We got room darkening shades at Home Depot and had them cut to fit the window. I put green sheer curtains from JCP over the shades so we could use that when we wanted some light in but still get some privacy.

Re: Window treatments for the nursery?
We're doing plantation shutters and decorative panels - don't know which ones yet.
I was going to do room darkening but I want the baby to get used to sleeping in any light...

Re: Window treatments for the nursery?
we bought blackout cordless shades from JcPenny. They're not too expensive and they are great quality!
They totally darken the room (which I heard is great to get the baby to sleep longer) and they're cordless which is a safety plus.
We got them in white.
