OMG I HATE MOTHERHOOD MATERNITY!!!!!!

Okay, so I posted awhile back now about my bad experience at the Westbury location. It was my first time at the store and I had a terrible employee helping me. When I posted about how rude she was and everything that happened many of you suggested writing. I had kept the receipt since it had the employee's name and # listed on it. I wrote a long and detailed e-mail. I was told I would get a response within 48 hours. Didn't happen, so I write back that I wasn't contacted within the time frame and would still like to be. I get another e-mail stating I would be contacted within 48 hours. Didn't happen so now I complain. They tell me i have to call a phone number. I call. I have to tell my story. She transfers me. I have to tell my story YET again!!! Then they tell me I have to wait to be called back. I wait a long time, get called back... they don't address the employee I am trying to complain about. They state they want to keep me as a customer but don't really offer me anything. They want me to tell them what I want but honestly, I hate them now I feel Old Navy, Target and regular stores would suit me just fine. I don't need motherhood maternity even though they are a monopoly on the pregnancy clothes. He hangs up and says he needs to talk to more people and would call me back within a half hour. Now I have to wait for him to call me back even though I was going to run out to the store. This whole thing has been going on since 1/31/12 and I am just infuriated at this point with their business practice. TERRIBLE!!!!

So sorry you had a horrible experince with them.

After I read your last post I was so afraid to go to there. Since my sis lives in Queens I ended up going to the location at Queens Center Mall. We got super lucky there. Had the best person ever helping us.

He called back and claims that girl left anyway, so that it was "safe" to shop there again LOL. Well, if I do go back, it won't be that location. I found some others that are comparable in distance.

I'd write another letter and include at the bottom "A copy of this has been sent to the BBB" and send one to them.

I never liked shopping there. I don't like their styles and I feel like they are way overpriced. I prefer non-maternity looking styles from Old Navy or Target maternity line.

omg what a terrible experience! so sorry you had to go through this. i've had really bad experiences at the westbury location too probably from the same rep. so glad that they left.

How awful! I've had success in the past with actually writing letters and sending them via snail mail. I've also googled names of higher-ups in the company and sent copies to them and have gotten responses. If you want to go a step further - send your letter via certified mail - it makes it look important and urgent. Good luck!
