Re: Convertible Carseat
britax boulevard... it was a toss up between that and the marathon but went with blvd bc of the ease height adjustment.... Once installed, seat will never have to be taken back out of my car for any adjustments

You don't have to take out the Marathon for adjustments either, Only the Roundabout.
ETA - We have a Marathon and a Roundabout.

Really? I def know about the roundabout bc I have experience with that one but was going by what baby bargains said about the marathon... "must rethread harness manually"

Re: Convertible Carseat
I always had the Britax Marathons for my kids. Since my old one was nearing 6 years old, I just took it to BRU today to trade it in for the 25% off and got another Britax - the Marathon 70.

Re: Convertible Carseat
Just remember, that you register and receive your convertible carseats a good year before you have to use them. That means at least a year has gone by on the 5yr expiration.
Just some food for thought.

I wouldn't necessarily say a good year--my first DS hit the height limit on the Graco infant seat at 4 months. And if I remember correctly from buying his convertible, it's difficult to tell the exp date from the box--our britax has it printed on the bottom of the seat, but if you order online or can't open the box, you won't know the date of manufacture.

Hmm... Maybe it's a new feature in the Marathon 70...

Same. I went ahead and got the convertible now, and my baby won't be here for a week or so. Both my other kids were in the convertible seat by 4-6 months. And out of it about 4.5 years old.
I just bought the Britax Marathon 70 yesterday at BRU with the trade in discount. I saved $75 on it. The Manufacture date is right on the box, it was manufactured on January 24, 2012. So I'm ok with it!

DS outgrew his infant carseat at 4 months as well. You just never know! I registered for and got two convertible carseats. I am happy to have gotten them at the shower rather to go buy them on my own.
