I prefer pit bulls (and I actually don't care for the breed at all, but to each their own) but I KNOW I don't want to eat something that has even a little amount of BUTANE in it.

This ad made me crave McNuggets though....
I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Though I agree, why did they have to specifically say pitbulls?! I know they throw the stray in there to make it easier to digest, but still, just say petting a stray dog. I do agree that THIS is how animals get bad reps.
But I still love my dopey pit bull and chicken nuggets. I may even feed my pit bull some chicken nuggets since I like to live dangerously.

I get deathly sick every time I eat McDonalds.. Food poisoning three times from the McNuggets over a 10 year period.. I haven't touched anything from there in 4 years!!! Nothing is safe to eat there..
A Big Mac is quite safe to eat.
Quite safe.
Never gotten sick off of that.

Ok, I am no pit bull lover, however, I think this ad is so completely ridiculous. If a company has to defend the product they sell, then perhaps they should rethink their product all together.

This is what makes everyone so scared of pit bulls bc of all this bad press. People are uneducated and this is what happnens.
I have had them and will contiune to have them and rescuse them. Any stray is dangerous to pet but to single them out is just wrong. They are AMAZING dogs, and always will be. Did you know that all the dogs from Vicks dog fighting ring were all adopted out and living with families and other dogs?

Count me in for the nuggets! I'm afraid of big dogs, so you'd much sooner find me eating mcnuggets than petting a stray pit bull, or any other dog, for that matter.
That said, the ad is pretty dumb.

That said, the ad is pretty dumb.
Maybe this pisses off pit bull lovers but, I watched a" big mush of a pit bull" attack my brothers dog for bumping into it. The attack went on for about 5 mintues with every person there trying to break it up. It was the most horrifying thing I have ever seen. I have never seen a dog with such a powerful jaw that just wouldn't back down. Our dog was totally submitting and screaming while the owners tried to break the pit bulls jaw, beat him in the head, splashed water on him and did everything they could to get the dog to release my brothers dogs lungs from its jaw. I had nightmares for months. My brothers dog survived after surgery and many days in ICU. I will never pet a pit bull again. "Bad rap" or not. That is just based on my experience. But, I love chicken nuggets. Just not while I am weight watchers.
But, I do agree that they could have just said "stray dog". It was a stupid can of worms to open. It's not going to them any good PR wise.

finally someone! I mean I eat McDonalds a couple times a month bc I love their cheeseburgers and I never get sick. I cook dinner every night and eat well usually so it is not that my stomach is used to junk bc I generAlly eat healthfully.
Doesn't make me sick, never has. Maybe if I ate 5 burgers or something lol

Yeah. I never understand when people swear they got food poisoning from such and such food. How do you officially know it was food poisoning, and from a specific item? You may feel ill, it may not agree with you, etc, but that does NOT mean it's a food bourne bacteria causing your symptoms.
Also.. according to literature re food bourne illnesses, food poisoning generally shows it's self a few days after you eat a food (has to multiply in the gut), not the day or day after you eat something.

ITA. A lot of people confuse food poisoning with a food just not agreeing with them.
My sister will get stomach pain and is in agony pretty much every time she eats fast food...she has mild IBS and its just the way it is. Its not because of poisoning.
I'm not saying people don't get food poisoning from fast food places but at places like mcdonalds where the turnover of food is pretty fast, its less likely..
