Csection
Both my previous csections were emergencies ...I was just wondering why do I have to show up on the csection date 2 hours prior .....It is scheduled for 9am..do they take you on time

Prep. History, physical exam, bloods, fetal tracing, consent signing, meet this one meet that one. That's how it worked when I was at Lenox Hill, so I imagine your hospital is similar. And hopefully they will run on time. Unless there are emergencies.

I had an Emergency c-sec with my dd too. My ob told me for a scheduled c-sec you go in 2 days before for pre-op testing. Than you go in a few hours before the actual surgrey. I don't know for sure how it works but I am really hoping to go before my scheduled date. I went 15 days early with dd and they will only schedule me 7 days before my due date now.

I was taken a little late because my docs were late. The nurses were p!ssed! They said the only reason a scheduled should be bumped is if they need the OR for an emergency c-section.

This is what I went through too ~ at St. Charles and my c-section was delayed because there was an emergency.
