bottles on registry
are you registering for one of those large gift sets that comes with the sterilizer, etc?
OR
are you registering for a few different kinds of bottles in say 3-packs?
I originally registered for the gift set but was told that was not a good idea and that I should register for a few different ones in smaller packs and see what the baby likes.
This person also said that the sterilizer wasnt necessary.
Thoughts?

Re: bottles on registry
I'm registering for a few different brands since I do not know which ones LO will like. So I decided on a few different types.

Same here. I did three different brands in the smaller packs. I skipped the sterilizer since I'm hoping to EBF. I figure if I'm only using the bottles on occasion I can definitely just throw them in the dishwasher. If I didn't have a dishwasher or planned to use bottles daily, I would probably get the sterilizer just for convenience.

Re: bottles on registry
I registered for a few sets of the same brand, just different sizes. I ended buying 4 other brands on my own after DS was born. I would register for a few different kinds of gift sets.

Re: bottles on registry
I registered for a few but only got the Medela bottles and bags. and playtex drop-ins at my shower. Turns out that the Medela was all I needed. I am BF ( pumping) and supplementing (formula).
My sister just recently bought me a microwave sterilizer and saved my day! I totally did not take into account how often you have to sterilize! I do three (3) sets in the microwave for one day's worth of bottles, nipples, pacifiers, caps.
For the record, I use about 10 bottles a day.
