Spotting @10 weeks..

(tmi post!)

I woke up and went to bathroom, when I wiped there was a bit of bright red blood. Since then every time I go to the bathroom there is a tiny bit of pinkish discharge. I am wearing a pad but nothing has gone onto it. I don't have cramping but I have twinges going on that are concerning me. I am worried that it is going to get worse..I never had spotting with my first pregnancy.

What should I do?? I am definitely calling my OB in the am to get an appointment but is there a point to going to ER or calling him now? Has this happened to anyone else and it turned out to be nothing?? I am seriously freaking out and so scared.Chat Icon

Re: Spotting @10 weeks..

Try to relax, I know, easier said than done. Many women bleed/spot during pregnancy. I spotted twice during this pregnancy and Im 28wks along with a healthy baby. As long as there are no clots or cramping you should be fine. Def. call your OB in the morning like you planned on...Chat Icon

Thanks Betty Chat Icon I am trying to relax but it is hard. I actually just called their after hours and they said to come in tomorrow for ultrasound.

Praying for you! I am sure everything is fine. I am 9 weeks and had some spotting yesterday, but I've been spotting every few days. I have been to my ob and to er and the baby was fine. They couldn't see where the bleeding was coming from. If you can wait until tomorrow I would recommend that. When I went to the er I was there for hours and wished I had just waited until the following morning. Take it easy today and good luck!
