My baby isnt gaining enough weight....

DS who is almost 10 months, hasnt been having such growth spurts as he did from NB to maybe 7 months...hes gained barely oz. like at 8 months he was 17.10 lbs today he was 17.11...hes fine with everything else...babbling, crawling fast, standing up..its odd b/c my other son was constantly gaining weight at every checkup.....anyone else go thru this? should i be worried?? TIA!

My son had this at about the same time. The more mobile they are the more they loose weight. DS went from the 50% to below the 20% in weight. Now he is 4 1/2 and he is in the 68% for weight and 92% for height. Good luck.

We are going through the same thing. He has gained 2 pounds since his 9 month check up, he is now 17 months. He started off in the 50% range for weight, now he is 10%. He eats a lot and very, very healthy foods but he runs around all over the place. The dr said he is just fine and not to worry at all. She said that DH and I are small people and it could be because of that or because he's really active. Either way, he's very healthy.

My DS will be 10 months in 2 days and hardly has gained anything over the last few months. He is a busy guy who is always moving so I think thats why he isn't gaining weight. Has your DS grown in height at all? If he is growing in height and not losing any weight I wouldn't be too worried.
