SPINOFF- going home outfit.
What exactly is a going home outfit? Like, is it basically just a onesie that you need an a blanket? Or do you need a hat, mittens, socks, blanket, jacket etc. Sorry, this must be a stupid question...

Re: SPINOFF- going home outfit.
For dd #1 and for this little girl I am dressing her in a hat, one piece fleece jumper, socks, side snap onesie and bib. I did the same for her big sister. Both are winter babies also.

Re: SPINOFF- going home outfit.
Forgot to add you will probably get some cute outfits at your shower so you might not have to buy one.

Re: SPINOFF- going home outfit.
DS was a January baby. I got him a Jets fleece set with pants, jacket and a onesie. I also had white socks and a white beanie and covered him with a blanket in the carseat coming home. I'm so mad I did not take 1 picture! I think I was so excited to leave the hospital and so tired and overwhelmed once I got home.
This baby will be born in July. I'm team so I'm just getting a neutral cotton outfit with a matching hat and socks. I didnt start looking yet, I can't wait until the summer clothes come out!

Re: SPINOFF- going home outfit.
Were team for a we got a onesie with pants and I ordered a brown crocheted bear hat from etsy. For a I got a pink long-sleeved onesie with pants and a black leopard dressy-thing to go over onesie. I will use either a pink or white hat. Then any blanket for car seat.

Re: SPINOFF- going home outfit.
In my family it is tradition to dress them for coming home and then save it. DD was born in July and she wore a white dress, bonnet, and booties to match. DS will be born very soon, he is going home in a white knit sweater set with booties and hat.

Re: SPINOFF- going home outfit.
I just put DS in a fleece sleep and play from Carters. He also wore a hat aid a blanket since he was a December baby. For this baby, I'm planning on doing somethg similar - maybe even the same outfit.

Re: SPINOFF- going home outfit.
it's the works! DD was born in january so her going home outfit was a onesie, pants, socks, hoodie, hat and a couple blankets.
this little one will be born in may in texas ( ) so i'm thinking a onesie, pants and a blanket will suffice :)

Re: SPINOFF- going home outfit.
I dressed my dd is something I thought was really cute. I wasn't a fan of the whole onsie thing. My dd was born in August and this was her take home outfit. It also had a matching hat and sweater. I paired it with cute white ruffle socks.

Re: SPINOFF- going home outfit.
DD was a November baby so we did a fleece outfit. White undershirt, socks, hat & we had our bundle me.
For April I bought him a light long sleeve outfit that came with socks, hat & blanket.

Re: SPINOFF- going home outfit.
A coming home outfit can be whatever you want it to be. DS was born late July during a heat wave so we brought him home in nothing but a short sleeve onesie and a very lightweight receiving blanket so the AC wasn't on him. DD was born early april so she came home in a cute one piece cotton outfit with a hat, cute little socks b/c the outfit didn't have feeties and a blanket. Can't remember if we had to use the blanket, but I don't think so. This will be another late July baby so it'll probably be another cute short sleeve onesie.

Re: SPINOFF- going home outfit.
For me I just stayed simple. I brought DS home in March in a one piece cotton outfit, socks, a onesie underneath, hat and a blanket.
I plan to go simple with this one too. They are just so little, I like them to be comfortable.
