Paci Holder
Is this necessary? If I don't have a case for my paci do I just let it float around the diaper bag or put it in a plastic baggie?
How many pacis should we have?

Re: Paci Holder
I buy Avent pacifiers which come with a locking plastic case. They are the best. It keeps them clean and I can then toss them in my diaper bag. I have about 10

Re: Paci Holder
i think that the strap/clip's are essential!! I keep my pacifiers in a little container in the diaper bag. I wouldn't want them floating around in there. I went out and got a bunch of different pacifiers for my twins before they were born and not they will only use the ones that are like the ones in the hospital. pacifier snobs!

Re: Paci Holder
I know this is not what you asked, but for DS we got him a wubbanub paci (SOOOOO cute) and thankfully it was always easy to find. We'd put it in his carseat with him and it was always easy to spot when we were home. That said, as much as I tried to have him take the paci (to calm him down when crying etc ) he never really did. lol. But we never lost it!
This is a wubbanub. They have a bunch of different animals/colors for the stuffed animal part.

Re: Paci Holder
I got a JJ cole pacifier pod for about $4 and I love it. I always know where the paci is, I know its clean, and its very easily accessible.
It can actually fit 2 in the pod in case one falls to the ground!

I love the advent paci's ~ so did my 1st ds ~ hope baby #2 does too
It has a case I used to put it in there and if I had a couple I would toss in a ziploc.

Re: Paci Holder
personally, i wouldnt buy anything paci related until the baby is here. my DD only took a paci til 4m. then she literally spit it back at me and doesn't take it at all. plus she would ONLY take the soothies, no other types. at 8m now she's a thumb sucker though!! anyway i just wouldn't waste money on anything like that until you really know what your DC likes.

True. We had different kinds and she really only takes one that my friend ordered from mypacificer.com It's a European company. lol My friend ordered more for me after she was born since those were the only ones she LOVED.
If you're going to buy them, buy a few different kinds, but you just don't know!
