question about giving rewards for going on the potty
How long are you supposed to give the rewards for?
DD has been getting 1 mini m&m for pee and 2 for poop.

I did stickers for pee for two weeks for every pee. For poop that got two stickers and at the end of the chart DS got a big toy he wanted. At the start I also gave small match box cars to get DS to want to go. Over all it was about 6 weeks of stickers.

For about two weeks we did m&ms then he stopped asking for them and we switched to a sticker chart

Um I wish I knew! We started with matchbox cars for ds when he pooped. He now he's over 200.

I did M&MS for DD, two for both pee and poop. She also has a sticker chart. To be honest, we're a week into and after the first few days she really didn't care about the rewards anymore, she was just so excited that she did it. She stopped asking for the candy and stickers.
