my night in L&D

Friday was my 38 week appt and I was 1cm dilated. Yesterday I decided to run to BRU and pick up a few things I still needed. At BRU I surprisingly I had to use the bathroom and there it was my mucous plug. So much fun when you are not home.
Later that day I washed some baby stuff and decided to take a nap. Around 5:00 I started noticing the contractions were coming more often so I had DH write down the times to keep track. . . 13 minutes, 11 mintures, 7 minutes and then we hit 5 minutes and they were getting a little more "intense" as they were coming - I wouldn't say painful yet. I decided now woul dbe a good time to take a shower and have a little snack because who knew how long it was going to be before I could eat again.
We get to the hospital and get checked in and hooked up to the monitors right away. They keep an eye on the contractions and run a couple tests to see if my water broke. Contractions are 2-5 minutes apart and my water did not break so they check me and I am still only 1cm. I was so disappointed. I decided to go home and labor there since we don't live that far from the hospital.
I actually slept through the night and the contractions started to tapper off and now I barely feel anything. So we wait again.
