FYI for Purchasing Cribs...
I LOOOOOOOOVE my crib. its gorgeous. its the baby appleseed davenport from BBB.
we love it... however.. i was setting up some new toys that DD got for the holidays when i made the realization that there no way to hang up things like the projection soother or a few other toys that wrap from the top of the crib. this crib has a large piece of wood from the top of the frame before the slats. its so long i cant attach any of the toys  . i mean i could build my own contraption but it would def not be child-safe..
so just a note, even if you plan to have a room thats not filled with toys, make sure that you buy furniture that can be used with whatever accessories you may NEED in the future. nurseries look really pretty before your child is born but once they are here getting them to sleep is WAY more important than looks!! my DD is 8m old and we got all these new crib toys that we cant really use with that crib. i was esp looking forward to the fisher price projection soother... ill have to figure out some other places to attach it... but just an FYI for those who haven't purchased furniture yet..

great advice - we have the same problem with our munire crib... even breatheable bumpers are a PITA to attach.

Great advice. I'm sorry you're dealing with such frustration! I was just looking at cribs tonight online and never would have thought of that!
