Hospital hats
Where are good places to get newborn hats for the babies right after delivery? At st. Charles they gave dd one and took it away the next day. I questioned them and they looked at me weird. I don't want this to happen again with dd#2

Usually they don't take them away.  They are cheap enough.
I got a hat with an outfit or two (newborn) & they sell them at all the stores.
I got a fancy one for pics from Nordstroms (just in case I deliver soon... wanted to have it in hand).

my sister said the same thing, at the time she gave birth 8 months before me and has a hat for her first born and her 8 month old also from the same hospital. I was told there are ladies who make them for the babies to KEEP. WTF

I just had DS at St. Charles 5 weeks ago and we kept not only his hat but the onesie and blanket he was wearing.that is strange they took it from you.

If I don't get a hat in time I will say something again to the staff to make sure DD# 2 has one and keeps it.
