dumb question...do they make anything to keep a baby's socks on?
he's always pulling them off, or losing one. this kid is always sockless on at least one of his feet.
is there any type of special sock?

I don't think they make anything but my son is almost 4 weeks old and I just buy the smallest socks I can find or I keep him in a onesie with feet.

Yeah, I love the onesis but now that he is almost a year ( goes so fast ), I've been trying to dress him up more. Congrats on your baby!

I find if they go up high (almost to his knees) they stay on. Other wise they slip off when I pick him up and/or he moves around.

Dd kicks them off constantly ...i am seriously thinking of sewing them on to her pants or buying those clips that women attach there panty hose to garter lol. We lose soooo many socks especially when dh is watching her i come home from work to a 6 month old with mix matched backwards socks on lol..

That's what I put on over DS' socks and he never took them off. I also found the Old Navy triple fold socks to sty on the best. But I also found the Robeez style shoes to have better grip for his pulling up, cruising and walking.

Can you get Sock Ons in the states, I think they might be a British product, but they are great!!!

It's hard to keep the socks on! Now since it's so cold, i get her those pants with the footies during the day or I just put her in regular pants and keep on pulling her socks up. At night, she's in those one piece pjs.

I always loved Gap and Old Navy socks. They stayed on much better than the other brands. I also used Robeez to keep socks on as well.

those are friggin awesome!
i put maryjane style bunny slippers with the elastic rim over dd's socks when i need to...doubt those would work for an older child though lol

I think it has something to do with the kind of socks you are using.
I always had a lot of luck when my DD was young with Carter's socks. I think she wore Carter's socks exclusively until she was about 2 years old, then I started buying other brands. They just stay put nicely!
