False contractions getting me down

I'm due on Monday and I've been up half the night with sporadic contractions. Before bed I was so excited because while they were just dull aches, they were consistent at 13 minutes apart. Then during the night I woke up bc the pain was worse...I was so excited but when I timed them they were all over the place and still continuing that way now. I had a funny feeling he'd be born today, but it looks like he's faking me out. He's been measuring pretty big, supposedly over 9 lbs already, so I was hoping he'd be early. I feel like I just can't wait anymore to meet him and this feels like such a let down.

Are you sure they're false? With ds #1 my water broke & my contractions still weren't regular by the time I went to the hospital 6 hours later. After about 12 hours they finally put me on Pitocin to try & regulate them because they were still anywhere from 7-12 min apart!

sorry, that happened to me with ds. no. 1...unfortanetely i ended up being induced one week AFTER my due date. I hope that doesn't happen to u, but i know how you're feeling..
