When will you start decorating nursery?

I need to clean out the spare room asap. When did you start painting and getting the room ready for LO?

I started cleaning out the room this week and once everything is out we are going to paint. Furniture is here so after we paint, I'll clean the carpet and DH will get the furniture together :)

The room is about 75 % cleaned out. We hope to paint in 2-3 weeks and get the furniture delivered in mid February. I am due mid March so I feel a little behind but my main goal is to have to room cleaned out and painted before my shower so I have a place to keep his stuff.

For #1 we startd about 4 months before she was due.

Once we come back from our babymoon next month... Most likely wont start until Feb.. The room is already painted lavender so thank god we're having a girl... (DH & I would hate to have to repaint!)... We already have all the furniture... Just need new carpeting and installation of a closet system

We cleaned out the room and DH painted when I was around 29-30 weeks

We had to do major renovations so we started about 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. Painting just started yesterday and will continue for the next 2 days (we're doing a chair rail and two colors and one color is pretty dark so there is a lot of drying time in between). Once the painting is done the mouldings will go up and then furniture will be moved in an assembled. After that it's just decorating. We're hoping to have everything done by the middle of January. I'm due March 25 but my shower is Jan 28th so we wanted the room done so gifts can go right in.

I'm 25 weeks and we really just started this past week. The nursery used to be my office so the weekend before Christmas DH cleared out all the furniture. This past weekend (we were off Fri and Mon) we started to prime the walls. Just doing bits at a time as to not get overwhelmed.

I am due July 27th. I already have furniture that I want to refinish so that is going to be my first step. I will prob do that @ about 20 wks.That will give me plenty of time to rethink my design idea if my original refinish doesn't come out like I hope. Barring no problems or issues, I will probably paint and shop for accessories once I am done w/the furniture until the bubbie actually arrives.

Originally we were going to refinish the wooden floors but we agreed to hold off and just put a huge area rug down. In a year or two we are hopefully going to expand and dormer & will have to redo the floors then so it makes no sense to waste $$$ on it now. The only thing I am up in the air about is what to do w/the closet. It is super small and putting an organizer in it wont make sense. We will prob just put in another shelf & two rods for hanging clothes.

We cleared out the room and put in the crib & dresser around 23 weeks (sooner than we planned because the furniture arrived a lot sooner than we expected). I'm 25 weeks now and DH is going to start painting this coming weekend. I hope to get all the big stuff done by 32 weeks and then after my shower, around 34-35 weeks, we'll do any last minute things.

We don't have too much to do, so probably around 30-32 weeks. We painted the room a neutral color back when we did ds #1's room 2 years ago, so it's already painted. I just have to transition ds to a big boy bed sometime in the next month or two so that we can move his crib in there for the new baby & maybe throw up a few decals or something...

We started at about 14 weeks and went full blown once we found out we were having a at 16 weeks. At 26 weeks, her nursery is pretty much complete.

I'm almost 28 weeks and DH is painting the nursery this weekend. All the furniture is here just in boxes. Once painted we get set them up and decorate from there

Im 23 weeks and already started cleaning room out. hoping to start painting within a week or 2
