I plan to BF and pump occassionally so that DH can get the experience of getting up for middle of the night feedings too

I am due in a few weeks and still haven't decided. I know even if I do BF I will pump and formula feed cause I will be going back to work after 8 weeks and my schedule will not allow for regular pumping.

I plan on doing both. Like PP said, I want DH to be able to have t he experience of feeding her.
I also have to go back to work after 12 weeks so I want her to be familiar with the bottle too because I plan on continuing to pump at work.
I hope it works out!

I'd say I relate mostly to this post...
i want to BF as much as possible, but definitely have to pump so LO gets used to a bottle, and start formula within 2 months because I go back to work after 13 weeks and will not be able to pump at work

Hoping to EBF again. I did it for #1. With #2, I was sick and didn't produce milk, so she was FF. I would really like to BF this time again.

I'm going to try my best to breastfeed, and eventually pump as well, as I will be returning to work after 12 weeks. I know BFing is hard, and I will try my best, but if I can't do it, or I can't handle it, I will have no qualms about using formula.

I plan to EBF. I EBF DS for 15 months. I have a different job this time and it will be even harder to find time to pump at regular intervals, but I'm going to do everything possible to EBF.

Gonna do the same as with DS... nurse the first month to establish routine and supply then pump for the middle night feed for DH.
Worked well for us... it was h#ll in the beginning as I was the only one doing the feedings, but it established a good supply and DH saw the frequency and realized the need for him to kick his arse in the gear.
