Anterior placenta moms...
When did you really start to feel the baby move on a consistent basis? I am 23 weeks and still don't feel much. It makes me sad bc I only have 16 weeks left and want to enjoy every second of this!

I had the AP both times-- and I really started to feel what I knew was movement early this time (like 13 weeks, I was shocked)... Even now at 33 weeks though, some time movement is crazy-- and other times I get worried that I am not feeling much, but I know everything is muted cause of the placenta position. I had experiences where I was having a sonogram and the baby was moving all over, and I didn't feel it... Try not to worry and you WILL feel movement.

I had an anterior placenta with my first. I started feeling flutters around 20w, but didn't feel real movement until about 26w - and even then it was sporadic  DH didn't feel him kick for the 1st until the night of my shower (which was somewhere around 30w).

congrats to you! You are a trooper with twins already! This time I defnitely will NOT be your hospital neighbor lol
I had an AP and didn't feel real kicks until about 25 weeks...I felt so jipped : (

My sister had an AP and she felt the kicks around 23 weeks but never felt the hard strong kicks that I feel. She did say she feels like she missed out on that part.

This was me.
I barely ever felt her.
DH was never able to feel her from the outside.
I did kind of feel gyped. Half the time I didn't even know she was in there.

When my friend had AP, she didn't feel the baby moving until 26 or 27 weeks.
I have it now and I started feeling something random around 16 weeks. I discounted it as gas. But at 18 weeks I started to feel movement that felt more like baby actually moving. At 19 weeks I felt sure it was the baby and at my 20 week sono, I confirmed that what I felt was baby kicking me (he/she is breach and apparently I can only feel his/her kicks because the placenta isn't really in the way down by the feet... at least from what I saw on the sono).
BUTTTTT I only feel baby like once or twice a day at most. I can't wait to feel more movement consistently. I really eases my mind.

at almost exactly 20w i started feeling a lot of movement. i didnt even know i had an anterior placenta until i delivered.

After 20 weeks. Trust it will be more consistent the further you get along. Mine got stronger every week that went by. Im 35 weeks and I feel hands, feet, head, everything!
ETA: I find that laying on my right side in a quiet room at night (bedroom) will get the most movement/feeling.

I just found out I have an AP and was wondering why Im in my 19th week and still not feeling anything... Now it makes sense  I just want me & DH to feel it by the time we're on our babymoon... It'll be so memorable for the 2 of us... Damn AP and tilted uterus... What else can I get
