Is 6 weeks too early?

I'll be about 6 weeks for my first appt.
Will the doctor be able to see/hear anything at that point?

The receptionist was so nonchalant about when i should schedule my appointment, so i dont even know when the doc prefers to see me for my 1st appt.

I was just barely 6 weeks at my first appointment and I was nervous they wouldn't see anything. But they were able to find the heartbeat luckily. You "should" be able to see a heartbeat at 6 weeks but if your dates are off or if you ovulated late you could be earlier than 6 weeks and not see it yet. Good luck!

I saw DD's heartbeat at 6 weeks 1 day.

I had my first OB at 6 weeks with my last pregnancy and I had a sonogram a few days later. The sono tech saw a sac with my baby in it.

I don't think 6 weeks is too early. My old OB didn't see you until 10 weeks which was crazy.

I am at 6 weeks now I think and I want to see the doctor badly, but she will not see me until 8 weeks. It's so hard waiting!! I'd be happy if she took me at 6 weeks... and if they can't hear/see anything at least they can confirm everything for you and then let you come back in 2+ more weeks!

I was 6 weeks 4 days at my first appt. Got to see and hear heartbeat, and took home some pics!! Good luck to you!
