random bedroom door question

if you are in your bed and the bedroom door opens...do you see the door or the person coming in right away?

im trying to decide how i want my door. it wont affect the closets in the room.

but i want to know which is more comfortable...random, i know..

ETA: in other words, which way does it swing...toward the bed or away from it?

yes, the door is to the left of the foot of the bed looking at the door)

No, our room has a little hallway right when you walk through the door, then the room opens up.

Well we've rearranged our room before so it's been both ways. Right now it swings away from the bed so I can see who is coming in right away. Never noticed or bothered me either way.

Ours swings away from the bed so I see the person. I never thought about it before, but I don't think I would like it if it were the other way around.

It swings away from the bed, not towards... I think from a feng shui perspective, that makes the most sense... as does the bed being away from the door on an opposite wall... This is how I have all my rooms set up
