Maternity store on Old Country Road
Has anyone ever been to the maternity store on Old Country Road, i think its considered Carle Place? Is it worth checking it out?
I only have 2 pair of pants that fit for work (one of which has a rip on the bottom..lovely)..Just ordered one pair from Old Navy..but i think i may need to hit a maternity store and there aren't too many around these days.

I go at least once every 2 weeks lol! I love it there!
the right side is the normal priced stuff....the left side is the $$$$$$ designer stuff.
the saleladies are super nice & you always get a free water or apple juice when you shop!

the one i go to on old country rd is destination maternity in the same shopping center as chipotle... they have some nice leggings but their website has a lot more selections!

The Macys across the street at Roosevelt Field Mall also has a maternity section. I have been there a few times and have gotten pants that are so comfortable and that I have not had to hem. It's on the 3rd Floor I think one floor above the main floor. I found more there then at Destination Maternity and the Old Navy at The Source has a small selection. I found more online at Old Navy then in the store.

Ditto on all this! I went there ALL the time during both pregnancies!
I went there for my first maternity clothes trip and wow they are SO nice there!! I'm talking-- complimentary massage nice!

Destination Maternity. They had a lot of cute stuff and the salespeople are so incredibly nice and helpful. The right side of the store is the more reasonably priced stuff.....that's the side I stick to

wait that macys now has a maternity dept? when i was pg with DS 3 years ago they didnt have one i had to go to walt whitman. good to know!

Yes I was going to the Valley Stream one when someone told me about Roosevelt Field Mall one. It opened recently and I love it! The people there are so nice and they often have sales there. I bought my winter coat there.

yes, destination maternity is a great place to go. the left side is pea in a pod that is why it's so expensive!
gap maternity has nice stuff as well.

great store. if you're not looking to spend a million dollars, stick to the right side of the store.
the sales people are amazing there...they offer you bottled water or juice, they wait on you while you're in the fitting room and help you w sizes. i thought i was done shopping there, but went back for nursing bras and the woman must have spent over a half an hour w me helping me to find the perfect fits.
definitely recommend!
