I grew up with a mix and I'm doing basically the same for DS.
I did the majority from santa and then a few from mommy and BF.

On Christmas morning, under our tree, all the presents are from Santa.

Christmas Eve my son will get one from me. Everything on Xmas morning is from Santa.

Glad I asked....
I like the idea brought up here of them getting a gift from the parents Christmas Eve - kinda distinqguishes the gift from Santa's on Christmas Morning.

I grew up that the unwrapped presents were from Santa and anything wrapped was from mom & dad. I do the same for my kids. I just tell them Santa is too busy to wrap. Most gifts are from Santa.
