Chat Icon bladder control is *usually* not at its peak after one has a vaginal birth.. you could start kegel exercises to allegedly help strengthen the region!!!

Re: TMI: SOO over...

For now I suggest wearing a liner. The peeing gets worse as the pregnancy goes on.....for me it was a little drop when I sneezed and now that the baby is big and low I sneezed the other day and had to change all my clothes.

Re: TMI: SOO over...

Well i never had any problem after my son was born. Yes i might not be able to hold it as long, but i never had a weak bladder after.

And i never did my kegels either. Chat Icon

Crashing, but...

Do your kegels! A lot. All the time. And especially do one whenever you sneeze. It'll stop the pee from coming out.

Re: TMI: SOO over...

It will get worse before it gets better Chat Icon After I had DS I completely peed myself a few times. I cried hysterical and thought I would never be normal again. Chat Icon A few weeks later I was fine. Until now being pregnant again...

Re: TMI: SOO over...

So after reading all these responses I've been doing kegels like crazy! I'm thinking I will have to go with the panty liners too though...I thought that was supposed to be a perk of pregnancy though no liners, pads, tampons for at least 9 months!

Re: TMI: SOO over...

had the same problem... for me it was even worse when i would laugh a lot, and i have some funny friends so it was becoming a problem. lol...i picked up some liners, but i also started doing kegels and i was surprised how well that worked for me. as my pregnancy has gone on, the problem has nearly gone away...i only wore the liners a few times.

HTH!!

Re: TMI: SOO over...

the kegels help long time, but short term - get the pantyliners.

I agree about the kegels. I never had a problem leaking during pregnancy (maybe 2-3 times) and now 1 month PP I am fine. I still do them and I think it helps.
