Numbness in my fingers??????
The tips of My middle finger & ring finger on my right hand keep going numb/getting pins & needles. It happens a lot when I am lying in bed, but it happened yesterday as I was blow drying my hair & then just now & all I was doing was sitting on the couch. Anyone else experience this or know why it might be happening????? TIA

I used to get it all the time when i was pregnant with my twins. I think it was a form of Carpultunnel (SP?) At one point, my whole forearm would go numb. Went away a few months after i had the twins.

i get it in both arms and its terrible. i need to keep one arm bent and the other straight- i look like im nuts sometimes

Yes I had it with DD, went away after she was born. Hasn't happen with this pregnancy yet.

I developed this after I had my ds. It is carpal tunnel. I was told it is normal and that it could last the entire time I breastfeed.

same here after I had DD and I went to a hand dr and told me it will last until I wean. Your body retains a lot of fluid during pregnancy and post pregnancy if you breastfeed.. so now I have two numb forearms.. yippee!

It's totally normal. It's pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. I had it with DS. Towards the end of my pregnancy, most of my fingers were numb 24/7. I wore braces, which helped a little. I regained most of the feeling shortly after giving birth and I was completely back to normal within 1-2 weeks.

I am 39 weeks pregnant. I had hte numbness (carpul tunnel) for most of the pregnancy. It went awayabout 3 weeks ago!!! I was so happy. I dont even wear the brace anymore!

Sorry to crash -- but my DD is 3 1/2 months and my fingers are still numb! I am BFing though, and know i am still bloated a bit bc my rings don't really fit yet.

I delivered 3 weeks ago... numbness went away about 2 or 3 weeks prior to delivering. there is hope!

I got that a lot during the end of my pregnancy. Normal. It went away for me right after she was born!

Thank you for bringing this up bc just yesterday my right hand went a little numb. Not pins and needles but def numb. I just assuming LO was laying on a nerve. It went away pretty within 20 mins or so.
