2hr glucose test?
Has anyone ever heard of this? With DD#1 I took a 1hr test (and passed). I have to go for my glucose test but it says 2hr and the nurse said it is "more accurate". Just wondering if anyone else has done this........

I've read on here that a lot of doctors are doing this now because the 1 hour does produce so many false results, and it can be affected very easily. The 2 hour is supposed to be more accurate, thus hoping to avoid the need for the 3 hour in many cases.

Some Drs are moving to just doing the 2hr test instead of the 1 hr and then the 3 if you fail.
So if you pass the 2 hr you are good if you fail they will not test you again and you will have to follow the GD diet etc.

I have a perscription to do this one, but I had GD with DC #1, and I have been working with an endocrinologist to be sure to monitor my situation closely. I've been on a GD diet since start of 2nd tri
