Grooming question

I have my 24 week appt Thursday night. Just wondering when the appointments will become more than just checking heartbeat and stuff like that. So basically when do I need to be cleaned up down there for my appointments?

I "groom" there every day b/c I have a "hey you never know" mindframe along the lines of the "clean underwear" idea. lol. My feeling is the underwear would come off and everything should be clean, neat and tidy. LMAO.

Lol. Well poor DH hasn't been allowed there for fear of bleeding so they're not coming off. Actually the last time I shaved I must've cut myself and flipped out because I saw some blood on my pantiliner so I'd rather just do it when necessary.

omg can i tell you that's SO not even a priority for me right now????

I have been trying and i can't see, and im swollen already cuz of varicose veins, and i tried again last night and it caused a reaction so now i have razorburn on an already sensitive area...

DH told me to nair like i always did pre preg...but I'm afraid of the chemicals...

is nair safe in that area when pregnant????

just think of all the "not neat" bush the OBGYN's saw back in the day when it was "liberating" for women to not shave LOL

i doubt the dr cares...ill be more concerned when its time to go into labor...and DH has to be looking at it the whole time LOL

So far, my OB has'nt seen my vaj.
The sono tech takes a peek long enough to do the internal and that finally stopped at 32 weeks.

As for grooming, I try shaving but I really don't know if I get everything and DH does'nt comment on her appearance. I would NOT recommend using Nair for various reasons (its a chemical dangerously close to baby's home, and also the possibility of burning a very sensitive area)

I've heard ladies here mention that the OB really does'nt care what it looks like down there bc OBs see vaj all day.

So... I was a complete "mess' down there for months because I couldnt be bothered with my usual waxing (sorry TMI) , finally a few weeks ago when I started my internal exams- I realized I needed to take care of the situation- Internals started when I was about 36 weeks- so I went and got a full blown brazilian-- it sucked-- but I made it through--

Im thinking thats about all the grooming there will be for a while-- so hopefully the baby comes on or close to schedule!!

I am still going for my waxing monthly. I have been going for years and can't imagine stopping. Plus, like someone said, you never know!!

I am trying to get up the courage to let DH "fix up" the area for me. I cannot see it anymore and last time I did it I cut myself up, so I certainly don't want to do that again. But if it's your OB you are worried about - don't! They have seen it all!! From bare to holy god hair!

For me its starting next week at 34 weeks, they will do the sthrep <sp> test. After that one, the following apptments the internals start.

I am hoping a mirror and seating do the trick bc God knows I can't see my feet much less my va jay jay

I want to get a Brazilian but I am so scared...1. that it will hurt and 2. I don't want anyone to see me naked and move my lady bits around lol

DH helped me out when I was pregnant with DS#1 and that was a nightmare, I'll never let him do that again lol
