BRU registry
So-
In May I had a miscarriage.
I had been a bit overzealous and "started" a registry (didn't really add anything to it) prior to my losing the baby.
NOW- I created a new registry instead of just changing the due date of the other one. I probably shouldn't have done that, but whats done is done.
In any case, when people search for me I certainly don't want the old registry and old due date coming up and making ppl ask questions, etc.
I called BRU today to delete. They said they took care of it. I just did a search and both are still listed. While, when you click on the old registry it says its "unavailable", it still comes up as an option (with the January due date) when you do the search. I don't want that to happen.
Does anyone know if it will disappear from the options after a few days? I asked the woman but she wasn't any help and she assured me that only one registry was coming up for her. Not the case though when you go in as a person simply searching for someone else's registry

I can see why you want that one completely down, and that's frustrating they can't tell you more specifics, and I'd be so annoyed if they just keep insisting that "there's only 1" when you can clearly see both!!!! Do they think you are lying???
I'd like to think it will be down in a day or so when it's had time to refresh...

Maybe it just hasn't taken effect yet on the site since it was done today? I would check again tomorrow and hopefully it's deleted by then.

Same thing happened to my cousin and his wife. I only know this because I just ordered something off their registry and saw the other one there as well. I hope they can remove it for you though

Can you maybe edit the old registry and change your name to a made up one? That way when they search by your name it won't come up? Hopefully they can delete it for real soon!

this is what I was thinking too. Also, give people your registry NUMBER to search and not your name. This way they'll go straight to the correct registry.
