flutter question

This is my 2nd pregnancy and I can swear a few weeks ago (I am 18 wks Thur) I felt some flutters, like pops....and I have been feeling that but lately (last 4-5 days) haven't. Last sono was end of Nov. All was good. I called my Dr, he has to call me back but the office manager (who is the dr's wife) said at this point the flutters (if you can even feel any) are not constant and it is normal. I am still freaking a little.....any advice or info would be helpful, thanks.

Re: flutter question

This is my first pregnancy but I first felt flutters and tap tap taps when I was 17 1/2 weeks when I was lying in bed on a weekend. I got really excited thinking they would only get stronger, more constant.

Well, didn't feel anything really for the next several weeks and I started worrying because my next sono wasn't scheduled until I would be past 21 weeks. Everything I've read and heard is that it is not constant at that time. Fast forward to 20 weeks 3 days and i felt distinct nudges Chat Icon. That eased my worries and my follow up sono at 21 weeks, 3 days showed a very healthy busy little lady Chat Icon

I've been feeling the nudges every day since 20 weeks, 3 days but believe me, it was a long wait!

I'm sure everything is PERFECTLY FINE Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: flutter question

I am almost 20 weeks with my 2nd baby and am still not feeling consistent movement. Just some flutters and little taps here and there. My dr is not concerned at all. Said it is completely normal and we've seen the baby moving around like crazy at the sonos Chat Icon. During my 1st pregnancy, I didn't really start feeling anything until about 22 weeks or so.

eta: please disregard my 3 responses, lol. My computer just bugged out.

With my first I felt flutters here and here around 15-16 weeks. It wasn't constant until a few weeks later.

Re: flutter question

I am 20 weeks,1day and I've only felt a few flutters and some movement here or there. No big kicks or anything yet! So, it's nice to see I'm not the only one waiting!

Re: flutter question

this is my 3rd pregnancy but I def felt flutters at 15 weeks. Not consistent at all, felt some one day, some the next then not for a few days. Now at 17 weeks it is so clearly kicking. Def not all day everyday or anything like that but I think that is totally normal so early.

Re: flutter question

This is my 1st pregnancy and I felt like a bubble popping sensation around 16 weeks but it was VERY inconsistent. I started to feel much more purposeful, stronger kicks at about 20 weeks. I'm 22w 1d now and the kicks are only now becoming a bit consistent. I think it's around 26-28 weeks that consistency starts to be something to be concerned with.
