Dying hair
Just curious... Who got the "ok" to dye their hair during pregnancy? I am in my second trimester and doing the best I can with highlights, but I have so much gray (I am only 29 but started going gray at like 20!) i really look and I am feeling kind of cruddy about how I look.
I have heard people tell me no and yes- my doctor didn't bring it up.

I've stopped dying my hair but my dyed hair color isn't too far off from my natural. Since you're in your second trimester vs the first, maybe consider highlights? Since it won't be all over your scalp. Also, my coworker had a lot of greys that she was self concious about when she was pregnant and she used natural henna dye. Maybe look into that.

Its a personal choice. I colored my hair throughout my entire pregnancy...even in the first trimester. I used a no ammonia color.

My doc said it was fine, my salon uses Redken Shades (semi-perm or something like that). I got highlights the day of my shower @ 31.5 wks.

My doc said that if even the tiniest bit makes it through the scalp, our bodies will naturally filter it out. As will baby's should it even make it that far. I dyed my hair in first tri. I am way too gray not to. And baby is doing a-ok!

I asked my ob when I was in the 2nd tri and she said it wasn't a problem so I starting dying mine again right away.
