need pediatrician...

what do I ask and look for when choosing one??? help! I have to do this asap! Only 4 weeks left until my LO arrives (if I make it that long)

also, I live out in Selden. Any suggestions of a good dr would be helpful. Thanks!

A friend of mine lives in Selden and takes her DD to Dr. Masakayan in Miller Place.

I take DS to Mid Suffolk in Islandia, but they also have a Mt Sinai office. I am really happy with them so far for my DS, I went there growing up, and my little brothers (still in HS) go there. I also have several friends whose kids go there and they are all happy too! We see Dr. Kee as DS's primary.

Dr. Natalonis Office is wonderful! They are in Mt. Sinai. There is never more than a five minute wait and you are in and out. They are all very nice and have a well entrance and a sick entrance so sick children will not be around your well child. Here is the website.

I've been using Dr.Leonard and Dr.Schwartz at Kid's Care Pediatrics in Selden. So far I really like them. They were at the hospital to check out my little one each morning we were at St.Charles.
