So, I'm in the hospital...
I started having contractions at about 10 pm last night. I didn't call the doc because I wasn't sure I was actually in labor  i kept thinking maybe i just needed to go to the bathroom or that i had a bladder infection. At first it was just pressure in my lower back and butt, then in the middle of the night i felt stabbing pains below my belly. After a long night of contractions every 3-5 min I finally called the dr. Around 8 this am. I arrived at the hospital around 930 and was 1 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I haven't been checked since then but the contractions slowed down once they hooked me up to IV fluids.  The doctor won't give me pitocin or break my water since I am a VBAC patient. It's been a long day already. They've already offered an epi a few times, but I'm afraid that will slow things down even more so I refused it for now.
Anyway, just figured I'd share! Please send me some dilation vibes!
Hopefully they will check me soon.
