New Here! Hi All!
Just wanted to say, Hi Ladies! DH and I got a BFP in the beginning of the week and we are super excited! We told our parent last night, (My mom cried! First grandchild for my parents). It's definitely surreal!
I called my OB and they gave me an appt for Dec 15....my last period was Oct 28.....is that too early for an appt? My periods aren't 28 days, more like 36...so I feel I'm a week behind. Do you think I'll see/hear anything then?

Congratlations!!!!! 
You will prob be 6/7wks by then. You should see a nice sac, maybe even hear a heartbeat! I have longer cycles like you and saw a HB at 6w4d.

I have periods longer than 28 days and I saw the sac at about 5 weeks and the heartbeat and heard it at 6 weeks and saw a tiny dot.

congratulations.. I am about as far a long as you are. I saw a sac at 4+ weeks and a heartbeat at 5 w5 days. Good luck and congrats again.. happy pregnancy..

Are you sure you're getting a sono at the first appointment? My practice sees me for an annual, Q&A session and writes a script for bloodwork at my first appointment. Then, 1-2 weeks later, they schedule the sono appointment.

Congrats!!! If you don't see something they'll make you go back a week later. I was measuring 3 days behind and freaked out, but all was ok. You'll probably definitely see at least the sac by your appt and maybe even a little flicker of a hb.
