So it looks like this November mommy... **UPDATE**
...is going to be a December mommy! I went to the doc yesterday, at 40w5d, and have had no progress since my last appointment. I have been 1cm dilated, not effaced, for about 2 weeks now. Doc said he could start and induction with Cervadil tonight, but I told him I'd rather wait as long as baby still looks good. He said Baby's environment is perfect- fluid levels normal, heartrate steady and strong- so he is totally comfortable giving me more time to go into labor on my own. So now, I go back every 2-3 days for monitoring, and as long as all still looks good, he will let me go until next Wednesday night (which would make me just 41w6d) before they would induce me for fear of placental maturity and breakdown. So, now I continue to wait!!
*****UPDATE*****
Went to the doc again today another NST and the monitor showed that I was contracting (I'd been feeling it all day today but thought it was just a lot of BH). They obviously aren't major yet, being that they aren't painful! Then, he did an internal and told me I'm almost 3cm! I have noticed a significant drop in my belly tonight too and a lot more low pressure. He thinks the baby will be coming this weekend!! I am so so soooo excited!! Even more so that labor is starting to happen naturally! Thanks for all the good thoughts, ladies!!

Haha yea, I gotta get on that! But by the time I get home from work, put my son down for his nap, I just feel like there is too much to do around the house to get ready for baby!
