a little disappointed - yay we're going!!

we were on the fence about doing a 3d sono but we asked the OB this week at my appt and she gave us info for a place she recommends and she said to go within the week...so i got excited about it because i really wanted to see the baby's face, you know to try and see who she might look like and of course my husband's work schedule conflicts and we can't go & i won't go without him...i'm bummed out...he kept asking how bad i wanted to go and i kept saying it was ok, don't worry about it, and he said if i really wanted to go he would figure it out, but i didn't push it, i wanted him to make the decision on his own...ugh i should have just said i wanted to go

such a dumb thing to be upset/vent about but i'm preggo i can't help it

Sorry! Sounds like something I would do with DH- say its ok and then brood about the fact that he didnt initiate on his own!

Is there any way you can do it another day? next week?

well he just called me and he is disappointed too it seems, he keeps saying he can figure it out with work but it's his busy week and he is already going in late one day for our sono with the peri and i don't want him to get into trouble...and yesterday he went in late for our regular OB appt so it would be 3 times total in one week that he would be going in late if we do the 3D sono so i totally understand- his job is more important than the sono but i'm being selfish

i really wanted to see her face, i was on the fence about doing the 3d but after speaking to our OB and getting the pamphlet i got excited...

how far along are you????

because I went at 28.5 weeks, and the baby wasn't cooperating...but the sonographer said it was OK because at 28.5w I still have lots of time (up until about 32 weeks is OK) so i could come back

we scheduled it for thanksgiving eve (last week) but they had an emergency and cancelled...

so now we're going tonight, and I'm 30w 4d

I think if you're before 32 weeks you should be OK
