Anyone have the Baby Einstein jumper

This one:

External Image

DD is 5 months and a little over 24 inches and her feet are nowhere near reaching even on the lowest settingChat Icon

Anyone else have this problem? She loves to bounce so we were so excited to put her in it but I just don't understand how it doesn't go low enough. She's not that much smaller than average for her age.

I have that one.

DS started using just at about 4 months. He was about 75%ile for his age.

I started him off with a LARGE, thick textbook so that I could see the tips of his feet touch the ground like the manual shows. I'm not sure if that was completely child-safe... but it worked.

We have the same one and it's really stupid that it doesn't go lower. I don't remember exactly how long it took for DD's legs to be long enough but they definitely weren't at 4 months.

yes, we didnt really like it.

DS couldnt use it until 7/8 months and I felt like the springs were super tight! I didnt realize that until we put him in a friends fisher price jumper - so much better

Re: Anyone have the Baby Einstein jumper

I had a similiar Baby Einstein jumper and DS definately did not reach the floor at 4 months old in it.

We placed a couple of folded up blankets underneath him, until his toes touched them according to the directions. Than we just removed a layer of blankets as he grew.

A few of my friends did the same thing with their DC and they all had different brands of jumpers, its not just the baby Einstein one.

I used to put a phone book and some pillows below to get DD's feet to reach.

Ugh. Well I'm glad it's not just me. I thought maybe we assembled it incorrectly or that the springs just needed to loosen. Do you think BBB will take it back and let me exchange it??

we put my DD in it at 4 months and her feet dangled. now at 5 months they are barely touching the floor. we put her in it for about 10 minutes a day. i think its a great jumper and she is pretty happy when she's in it. but my DD is a small fry so i thought it was just us who had the toe touching problem.

I started dd in that jumper at 5 mos and she could just barely touch. I think you should keep it. She was able to touch in a short time and she just loves it!

Re: Anyone have the Baby Einstein jumper

Dd is lil over 5 months...can only readh the floor wi her toe barely...we put a quilt under her and my yorkie actually dragged one of their beds under it so she rests her feet but does not have enough weight behind her to jump yet....she isn't fazed by it cause of the different stations she spins and plays at each one ..we r keeping it in no time she will be bouncing ...im surer your lil one will too.
