Measuring small at 5 w 5 days
I just go tback from another scan, and I am still measuring on the small side. The sac should be 2x the size that it is now.
Anyone have experience with this?

I feel like its still SO early. This is why I feel like u/s this early can be bad - they get you really worrying when its still way too early to worry.
Good luck though - at my first u/s (turns out I was just around 5w5d as well) they didn't see the baby and they thought we would see it - turns out, I was just too early, earlier than we thought originally. I just ovulated later than I thought.

My first sono was at 5.5 weeks and all they saw was the sac and the start of the fetal pole.
Did your Dr. suggest blood testing to see if your levels double? My Dr. ordered testing for me bc I was worried. If you are concerned, they request testing but, like the PP said, its so early.

We are scanning this early on, as I am under the care of an RE, and transfered a 5 day embryo. I had blood drawn today, but will not get those results until tomorrow morning. As of Tuesday my HCG was at 2,066, which the nurse was good.

At 5weeks5 days its really early. My RE office actually couldn't get a measurement this pregnancy because the sono image wasn't clear enough. My RE just went by my numbers until 7 weeks when they could measure.
I think your numbers are good, climbing in the right direction! Many

Don't stress yourself until you see where the baby is measuring next time. They worried me and said my baby was measuring small in the beginning and then somehow the baby caught up the following week ( or somebody measured wrong.) I was so upset and afraid over nothing. Praying everything goes well at your next appointment.

I went for my first sono when I *thought I was 6 weeks and we didnt see a heartbeat..then went back at what I thought was 7 weeks and then 8 weeks...and we finally saw a HB then..it turns out I was off with my LMP and I was measuring 3 weeks earlier... So when I *thought I was 6 weeks..I was really only 3 weeks...so of course we weren't able to see anything...I wouldn't worry just yet (I know easier said than done...) it is still very early!
