anyone get a racing pounding heart?
No cardiac issues btw. I ate lunch today and for the past couple hours my hreart has been pounding out of my chest even when I went to lay down for a nap. Its a bit better but now I can almost hear my heartbeat in my head. Soooo weird and uncomfortable. Anyone have this???!!

Oh yea, I've had that quite a few times! It's funny you say it happened when you laid down, bc my heart races when I lay down also! I never mentioned it to the doc though, but I'm assuming it's fine

YES!!! It is the absolute WORST pregnancy symptom for me. Its soooooo draining. For me it happens mostly in the morning (at work and on the train as I nap) and after a high sodium meal.
Its due to the increase in blood volume. I talked to my dr about it and he said totally normal feeling. Sometimes I'm taching away in the 140s!!!

I got it in 1st and early 2nd tri because of my hyperactive thyroid. I'm starting to get it again late 2nd tri in the early mornings.

Im so glad you posted this because it happens to me all the time and I wasnt sure if it was pregnancy or some weird panic attack thing. it usually happens after I eat too.

I have it too after I eat. Forgot to mention at my doc appt yesterday, so glad to hear it's normal!
