Tilted uterus?

I had my first appointment yesterday and the NP did an annual exam. She mentioned something about my uterus being further back and tilted. This is the first time I ever heard anything about possibly having a tilted uterus. I find that a little strange since I've already been through 1 pregnancy and no one ever mentioned anything.

Does anyone have a tilted uterus? Could that cause any issues or concerns with pregnancy? Could my first pregnancy or c-section have affected whether or not my uterus is tilted?

From what I've been told, a tilted uterus can happen at any time. I was told I had one at my first appt and it's the reason why the doc had a very hard time finding the baby. Your uterus will naturally right itself during the pregnancy

I have a tilted uterus as well. It wasn't tilted during my first pregnancy but the doctor noticed it during my second. It only became a issue recently I am now an IVF patient and during my first IVF transfer they had difficulty with getting the cathetar in to where they had to switch to a thin narrow one.

I just found out I had a tilted uterus at my first appointment this pregnancy. This is also my second pregnancy and no one ever mentioned it before. I don't know if I always had it or it's new because I am no longer seeing the same ob this pregnancy, I am seeing a midwife.

I have one, I found out while I was getting tested for my PCOS. The tech spoke out of turn to me and said it could hurt my fertility but it didn't. After talking to some people it seemed very common.

This is also my second pregnancy and I just found out I have a titled uterus too. My ob said sometimes it just happens. It does make sonos a little less clear now than when I was pg with dd.

I have one too. I was told at my very first OB/GYN appointment when I was 17. So far no issues with it related to the pregnancy.

Like a pp, I was also told that I have a tilted uterus when I was first diagnosed with PCOS about 10 years ago. And like another poster mentioned, your uterus will naturally right itself during the pregnancy...at least that's what my OBs told me when I was pg with my first & I had no problems with my pg or delivery because of it

Like two other PPs, I was told during my first GYN appointment that my uterus is tilted. It has not hindered my child-bearing in any way at all.

I have one and found out when I was going in for my IUD. I've had 2 pregnancies and 2 c-sections and don't know if I've always had it or not.

I didn't have any trouble getting pregnant or any problems with my pregnancies.

By talking to my mom I found out my grandmother and aunt both have one as well.

I was told I had one in my early 20s. Never had problems conceiving, carrying or delivering (c-sections) but I was told by my Dr that conception would be easier if you um, well... do it doggy style. I will not say whether or not that turned out to be true for me

I do.

I had 2 sections, but it had nothing to do with that. My ob told me early on there was no reason I couldn't delivery vaginally.
