On a funny note, am I the only one?

I have an OB appt today and I am scouring my closet for whatever seems the "lightest". I have been a BAD girl in terms of eating and those doctor's scales are NOT forgiving. Am I the only one to do this? I like my little scale at home, it is an old school cheapie one and I can always readjust it in my favor! I need to calm down with the eating, the holidays is a rough time to be pregnant!

Not at all! I don't weigh myself at home but, I do try to dress light for the dr.

I have my first appt on thurs, and was JUST thinking to myself, what am I going to wear...I have ALWAYS worn the same thing to my appts...the lightest things I could find...usually leggings and a tank (if its cold, i just take my sweatshirt off) And I try not to eat a few hours before my appt....sooooo insanely crazy!!!!

I don't care what I weigh. At this point in my pregnancy not much will change as far as what I eat so if Im gaining then oh well!

You're not alone! Sometimes I think I only bring DH to my appointments so he can hold alllll my stuff while I get on the scale. It doesn't help that my last appointment was the Monday after Thanksgiving and my next one will be the day after Christmas! The holiday food is killing me

lol yes, I make my appts in the morning and i usually wear leggings and a light shirt. One time i took off my sweater

Haha!!! Yes. I went yesterday and just as I got to the scale DH asked if I wanted him to hold my watch and earrings.

Haha, I don't worry about my clothes, but I make SURE to remove shoes and watch ( ) before getting on the scale!

Also, I had gone to pee right before I left work for my appointment and realized, DUH, I need to pee at the OB's office so I drank a 16 oz bottle on my way there. Well, I could barely get enough out for the pee sample, but I weighed in at 4+ lbs. I swear 1 lb was the bottle I drank so now I don't drink anything right before I go! I was about to pee my pants at my last appointment because I refused to pee until I got there so I wouldn't have the same problem again

I am overweight so I need to keep my weight increase to a minimum if possible.

I go light too!! yoga pants and a light shirt... You have to!!!

ETA: PP got me laughing! I downed a bottle of water before my last appt too just so i'd know id get something out and had to walk out of the room like 3 times to pee Oops... had a little TOO much haha

That was totally me this morning too! I have an appt this PM and I choose my lightest outfit and skipped dessert last night LOL

Sucks having to weigh in RIGHT after Thanksgiving!

Oh Yes, that is totally me! My official doctor's office wear is my leggins and a long t-shirt...nice and light weight.

My excuse is that it is easy to pull up and down when they do the doppler and sonograms and stuff, but...the real reason is that it's the lightest clothes I wear!

I do weigh myself every morning and I know that my next visit isn't going to be pretty! Thanksgiving really put on a few too many pounds last week!

I wore flip flops in the pouring rain (so I could take them off) leggings and a thin t-shirt to my last OB appointment. LOL. The less weight, the better. I know my Uggs add at least a pound. lol

I always wear my backless loafers do I can just slip them off. I also make sure I'm fresh and clean. Thats about all I worry about these days.

I go in the lightest sneakers i have, light t -shirt and light sweats, i don't care how i look as long as that scale is low.. But I haven't gained anything yet and I'm 14 weeks, so I guess I'm not doing so bad.. I gained 36 with DD and 20 with DS... So we shall see what this has in store for me

I make my appointments first thing in the morning so I can have breakfast afterwards. I don't want to eat anything before I step on that scale.
Also with my last pregnancy I tried to avoid one nurse because she always wanted to weigh me before I peed. Come on, I can totally pee out at least a pound!
