Still no movement/ almost 20 weeks?

I occasionally feel little twinges, but definitely not a lot and not often. Shouldn't I be feeling more by now? I am very thin and my pregnancy book says that thinner people usually feel movement much earlier. I have my level 2 on Friday and am freaking out.

Dont freak out!! I am not exactly the thinnest person out there but still, I didnt feel strong kicks until I was about 24 weeks or so. Every body is different and it depends on baby's position etc.

If you have an anterior placenta (meaning, it's closer to your belly/skin than further back), then you would have a harder time feeling baby move. My friend had it and I think she said she didn't really feel movement until about 26 weeks.

This time, my placenta is out front (OB didn't say anterior placenta, but looked that way on the sono) so it's making it hard to really get good views of the baby and I'm almost 17 weeks and still don't feel flutters. I feel little bitty thumps though, but not the usual beginning flutters.

I didn't feel anything definite until around 21 weeks. And I had twins in me! Im also thin so I thought I would have felt them a lot earlier but not the case. Every baby is different too. A friend of mine said her first baby barely kicked throughout the entire pregnancy, just every couple of days she would feel a little swooshy feeling. Then her next baby she felt all day every day. Don't worry!

I am almost 18 weeks and I just feel little things here and there. Not to mention you had 2 in there last time. I'm sure that made you feel a lot more!

I know it's hard not to worry! I had replied to a thread the other day saying I haven't felt much and starting to get sad/worried and omg maybe I just needed a long weekend because I felt my first DISTINCT movement early friday morning (like 4am in the car coming back from black friday to be exact ) It was nudges in my belly and on friday I was 20 weeks, 3 days. The next morning, i felt the baby hiccup (like a pulsating rhymic movement) and i've felt the baby every day since friday!

Be patient, I was so bummed since I'm not too big either (at least not before this baby ) and I had expected to feel movement earlier.

I bet it's just around the corner for you

my level 2 is this thursday and I was very worried before this weekend but I'm a little more at ease now. Hope it goes perfectly for both of us!

The baby is most likely moving and you just don't know it.

I didn't know for sure until about 24 weeks. I felt twinges before but no real movement until about 24 weeks. I am sure everything is okay but express to your doctor how you feel!

do you have anterior placenta? in either case, do not worry, i am sure you will feel him/her any day now.

I'm 18 weeks with #2 and still am not feeling any consistent movements either. I think it's completely fine and normal, at least my dr says so . With my first I didn't start feeling movement until after my Level II. Don't worry!

I don't think so. I didn't with the boys. Not sure if that is something that can change?

I was freaking out too.. I felt first about 21 weeks. I then realized that all those little twinges were actually the baby moving! Its ok!

I didn't feel anything with Tyler until after 20 weeks - I think closer to 22.

I've been feeling her since 18 weeks however my friend is due 2 days after me and hasn't felt the baby yet. Turns out she has an anterior placenta. Soon enough you will feel the baby!

this is my 3rd and I thought for sure I'd feel movement the earliest this time around! nope! Not until at least 22 weeks did I feel them for sure. Now at 25 weeks, I get a bunch of movement at certain times.

don't worry! I didn't feel movement until just about 22 weeks

now baby is kicking all the time!

I'm 22 1/2 weeks and have just started to feel movement other than flutters (taps every now and then) Previously, I just felt flutters.

I had no feeling till 22 weeks my first pregnancy & 23 weeks my second. I had an anterior placenta with both: it cushions the kid's movements.
