Need some color help for the nursery

The original plan was to do white wainscoting on the bottom and then paint the top of the wall the same blue that matches the light blue of this blanket

Then we went to Home Depot, Lowes, etc to check out the wainscoting and I wasn't crazy about what I saw and I didn't think it was going to as big of a job for DH as it would be (he would have to rip out all the current base moulding to put up the wainscoting).

Anyway, the wainscoting is not totally out of the question yet, however, I'm trying to come up with different ideas. I'm thinking now of keeping that same light blue on top, doing a white chair rail around the center of the room and then doing a different color on the bottom. But I'm not sure what color to do on the bottom? Maybe pick up the light beige that's on the puppy? I'm not sure. Or maybe do 3 walls that light blue and then the 4th wall can be an accent color - but I don't know what accent color to pick? What would you girls do?

We were initially going to do wainscoting then I changed my mind. It didn't go with our espresso furniture the way I wanted it to. Sooo we went with a white chair rail- pink on top and taupe on bottom, it came out gorgeous I lovee it! If we were having a boy I would have done blue top taupe bottom.

I agree. If you are doing blue on the top with the rail, which i think is a great idea, You should stick to a neutral color on the bottom.

Although, I love the idea of dividing it into blue and white, and if you are not going to to the wainscoting, maybe there's a different treatment you could use that will still give the bottom some texture or visual appeal so its not just plain white...But here's an example without and its really cute...
