Anyone told they will likely go early??

I am 35 weeks- will be 36 weeks this weekend. I went to my doctor last night and had my first internal. My due date is around christmas.... my doc said that he thinks that baby can come as early as in the next two weeks. Anyone else told this and didn't come early? I am so nervous now.... is 37 weeks too early for the baby???

It's totally fine. At 37 weeks you will be considered full term.

My OB is trying to get me to 35 weeks which is one week shy of full term status.

anything past 36 weeks is perfectly fine

yes, in fact my OB just told me he would like to see me go into labor now (I am 36+ weeks) since my baby is measuring large, at this point the baby will be fine.

With DD I was told at 36 weeks I would probably go early. I was 1cm dilated by then. I ended up being induced at 41 weeks.

But like everyone said, you are good if you go soon.

I am 1 cm dilated- a friend of mine also told me that she was a week late and 1 cm at this point too. So I guess you never know.

I walked around for 4 weeks 4 centimeters dilated and fully effaced with my last baby. She was 5 days late! So, I wouldn't worry too much. Unless he gave you a specific reason why you might go that early I wouldn't worry.
