Twins' names - POLL
OK... So, this may be a little long, so I apologize to start...
We are up in the air about the twins' names... we have a names for a  and a  ... but the problem is if we have two of the same...
Here is what we like:
:
Alexander & Grayson
I like Cole and Rhys (pronounced Reese) for the middle names
and for
: Jolene & Katherine
I want Elyse and Elizabeth for the middle names...
The problem, DH wants them to have the same middle name - why? - because they're twins. While I LOVE LOVE LOVE Rhys and Elyse, I am up in the air with BOTH babies (if of the same gender) having the same middle name.
Question: Would you give the twins the same middle name? If you don't mind, could you justify your reasoning too... I need to give my DH some answers other than "because I don't wanna"

I wouldn't. A name is such a big part of a person's identity. I'd want each child to have a name that was uniquely theirs, KWIM?

I'm a twin mommy and my girls have the same middle name, but that is because it is dw last name. otherwise I would not consider giving them the same middle name.
DW is also and identical twin and she is very glad that her and her sister have different middle names. She said it would just would have taken away more of their identity. She says they were compared all of their lives and it was nice to take what ever differences they could have.

I voted "eh...not really" but my only reasoning i guess is that I'm a twin myslelf (have a sister) and I like having different middle names.
